Dieci Lifestyle Spa Collects Relief Products for Hurricane Sandy Victims

Paul and Marie Gaglioti and the staff at Dieci Lifestyle Spa contributed to the cleanup efforts left by the destruction of Hurricane Sandy by donating Emergency Buckets with essential cleaning supplies that were then given to the residents of Long Beach Island. With plenty of state-wide restoring efforts underway, the Dieci Team wanted to help those who experienced the destruction of their homes, businesses, and towns. The staff has a special place in their hearts for the Jersey Shore having spent their summer vacations on boardwalks that are now non-existent.

Each Emergency Cleanup Bucket contained cleaning supplies and materials deemed useful by Church World Service that will help people begin the cleaning and reorganizing process. All of the supplies and materials were conveniently placed in a 5-gallon bucket with a lid that makes for convenient sorting and transporting. Some of the items included in the buckets were, scouring pads, sponges, dust masks, work gloves, heavy duty trash bags, and several other clean-up necessities. The buckets and the items in them are valued at $560 and The Dieci Team filled 10 of these buckets, as well as another large box filled additional supplies that they collected. The buckets were donated to Church World Service, a non-profit organization dedicated to reaching neighbors in need near and far.

The cleaning and restoration efforts will take time and this is the first step our organization is taking to do our part. We will continue to work together to get our state and our beloved Jersey Shore back to how we remember it.

Dieci is proud to announce their participation with Locks of Love

June 29, 2007

Locks of Love Salon NJWe at Dieci are glad to announce our participation with the Locks of Love charity.

Our participation will benefit Locks of Love, a non-for-profit organization that provides recipients with a custom, vacuum-fitted hairpiece made entirely from donated hair. The vacuum fit is designed for children who have experienced a total loss of scalp hair and does not require the use of tape or glue.

The organization, which began operation in 1998, has helped over 2000 children since its first year of operation. Thousands of bundles of donated hair arrive as a result of the national publicity that Locks of Love receives in newspapers, magazines, and television programs. Children comprise over 80 percent of the donors, making this a charity where children have an opportunity to help children.

We will perform a free haircut for anybody donating 6-10 inches of hair or more. These haircuts will be performed by our up and coming stylist, on Tuesday nights under the supervision of Artistic Director, Lenny. To donate your hair today call us at (973)716-0101 to set up an appointment.
