HAIRCUTS FOR HAITI

Haiti Fundraiser February 19, 2010

Dear Dieci Clients,

It has been a little over one week since our fundraiser "Haircuts for Haiti" and we are all still so excited about the wonderful experience of working together and with other local salon staff, to help those in need. It was truly an inspiring and memorable event and we thank you our dear clients for attending and donating for the benefit of others.

The evenings event began at 5:00 p.m. with awesome music provided by DJ Kurt Habermann. Kurt is the son of our Spa Director Marlene, whose was born in Haiti and still has family in Haiti. This tragedy affected so many, both near and far.

Marcia donated jewelry sales from the evening , local restaurants donated food, and other vendors donated posters, flowers and still others provided gifts for our raffle. Every salon and spa service was offered at affordable prices, and all of these group efforts resulted in a successful turnout.

We wrapped up the night at 9:00 p.m. and in four hours we raised $6,000.00 !! In that short span of time, we made a huge impact together... and we all had a great time doing what we love to do! Thank you again for sharing and caring!

We are sending the donation to The UNICEF Haiti Relief Fund in which 100% of the funds go directly to this cause.
